The James Store, an upscale women’s & children’s clothing boutique in downtown Granville, is seeking motivated applicants for the position of store clerk. Duties for this position include:
- Minding the store & helping customers with their purchases.
- Checking in new stock, and preparing for store & internet display.
- Keeping the store organized and tidy.
- Learning our brands to better educate customers as they shop.
Qualifications:
- Previous retail experience (desired.)
- Strong communication skills with a cheerful, friendly & positive attitude.
- Self-motivated personality with a desire to make a difference & satisfy customers.
- Flexibility to work both weekdays & possibly Saturdays.
Pay is hourly & benefits include generous discounts on store merchandise.

The James Store is a 60+ year old clothing boutique located in the heart of Granville. In 2007, it was acquired by Cecelia & Samantha Smith and has undergone a very positive renovation both in its appearance and its apparel. The James Store carries brands like Vera Bradley, Hobo handbags, FDJ French Dressing, Suzi Chin, Vanilia, and more. New brands and styles are arriving all the time.
