About: Best decorated site contest. Halloween Party — games, costume contest for kids. Refreshments. Trick or Treat through the campground. Night hayride with light sticks.

What: The Spooky Tales Jack-o-lantern Tea

Where: Davis-Shai House, 301 Central Parkway Heath, Ohio
About: What can be more fun than listening to spooky ghost stories shared by storyteller Frank McGarvey while sipping on a delicious cup of tea at the Davis-Shai House. As a guest, you’ll not only enjoy two gourmet teas but also scones and an assortment of tea sandwiches and desserts. You’ll even take home a souvenir. What: Drive Thru Haunted Park

Where: Infirmary Mound Park, 4309 Lancaster Road SE (Rt. 37, south of Granville)
About: Join the goblins and ghouls of the Licking Park District for an evening of entertainment and fright at Infirmary Mound Park. Hours are 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday and 7:30 p.m. -10:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. $20.00 per vehicle. For more information call Licking Park District. 740-587-2535

What: Spooky Story Hour
When: Saturday, 10/25, 7:30PM - 8:30PM
Where: Robbins-Hunter Museum
About: Adults $5, Kids Free, Maximum $10 per family. Registration deadline: 10/18/08. Join veteran storytellers Barbe Helwig and Dennis Kohler on Saturday evening October 25 at 7:30 pm at the historic Avery Downer House for classic ghost stories, games and snacks. Carriage rides by Granville Carriage Company will also be offered. While at the museum, check out the Jack O’Lantern Contest display and vote for your favorite! Please note, scary stories and happenings are not appropriate for small children.
