Granville Studio of Visual Arts (GSVA) Business Description: GSVA's mission is to build minds and cultivate innovative attitudes by providing high-quality creative-thinking education and visual literacy training using up-to-date understanding of best practices in arts education. Our programs cultivate creative self-esteem, problem-solving skills, self-discipline and cultural awareness. We serve students of all ages, from preschoolers to senior citizens, and reach out to students of all socioeconomic backgrounds throughout Central Ohio.
GSVA's curricula combine studio art activities, art history and art theory instruction. We encourage team-work and communication skills by teaching students how to design exhibitions of their own work. The exhibitions, designed and installed in a professional gallery setting, celebrate all students' unique creative visions. GSVA also works in partnership with public school systems in a collaborative outreach program.
