In Italy, enoteca (definition, user information) are neighborhood places that sell wine, some cheeses and meats, and select pantry items. You can also sit and enjoy a glass of wine and perhaps a simple meal-- uncomplicated, yet artfully prepared with the freshest and most superior ingredients available. Enoteca are unfussy places where friends can gather and relax and enjoy the good life, simply and slowly.
Nona invites you to join them for a glass of wine. Enjoy some of their carefully selected Italian cheeses and meats. Or... take home a bottle of your favorite wine, some estate bottled olove oil-- pressed from the robust olives of Tuscany-- and some hearty rustic pastas and sauce.
Also, Nona will soon begin offering multi-course dinners with limited seating, served at a leisurely pace.
Nona is located in the old Brews Cafe building in downtown Granville.
