Dog Licensing in Granville (and Licking County, Ohio)
From the Official Licking County website: "No owner, keeper, or harborer of a dog more than three months of age, nor owner of a dog kennel, shall fail to file the application for registration required by section 955.01 of the Revised Code, nor shall he fail to pay the legal fee therefore." The penalty for violating this law is a maximum of $100.00 for the first offense and $250.00 and 30 days in jail for any subsequent offense.
Licking County dog licenses may be purchased, in person, at the Granville Milling Company. If you received a dog license application in the mail, please bring it with you. 2006 dog licenses are $10.00 for regular tags and $50.00 for kennel tags until Jan 31st, 2006. By state law, after January 31st, the prices are $20.00 for regular tags and $100.00 for kennel.
